Did Jerome Corsi and Michael Zullo violate Arizona’s private investigator law?

It’s an interesting question.

Before I get into it, though, a little background to set the scene:

Right after Maricopa County, Az. Sheriff Joe Arpaio held his “press conference,” announcing that in his opinion there is probable cause to believe that the .pdf version of President Barack Oabam’s long-form birth certificate is a forgery (I know, I know), WND propagandist Jerome Corsi and alleged former detective Michael Zullo published an electronic book with the ponderous title of, “A Question of Eligibility: A Law Enforcement Investigation into Barack Obama’s Birth Certificate and His Eligibility to be Pressident.”

This book purports to present the “behind-the-scenes” view of the six-month investigation by members of Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse – led by Zullo – that led to Arpaio’s announcement.

And it’s selling: Amazon as of March 15 had it in the top 50 Kindle books in the U.S. Government and Politics categories.

Orly Taitz calls for the execution of judges and state officials — and then gets caught lying about it

America Hater Orly Taitz has been riding high since Maricopa, Az. Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his Elmer Fudd Brigade came out with the bogus results of their bogus investigation into an electronic file.

Taitz on March 3 crowed on her Web site that Arpaio’s conclusion — that President Barack Obama is running around with a forged birth certificate and Selective Service Registration card, and probably was not born in this country — “vindicates” the crap she’s been spewing in courts and hearing rooms across the country for the last several years.

How Arpaio’s crap authenticates Taitz’ crap is beyond me, but there you have it.

She feels such vindication, in fact, that she’s calling for the execution of judges and state officials who have ruled against her, or opposed her in her seditious crusade to overthrow the duly elected government of the United States.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s Elmer Fudd Brigade gives new meaning to the word ‘buffoonery.’

So I’ve had a day to ruminate about the “preliminary findings” released yesterday by the Maricopa County, Az. Sheriff’s Department “Cold Case Posse,” Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s answer to the Elmer Fudd Brigade.

(The Elmer Fudd Brigade is what a friend of mine has labeled the Minutemen, that band of goons who pretend to protect our southern border against the invading Mexican hordes. I steal his phrase as often as I can.)

If you haven’t heard, after a “6-month investigation,” Arpaio’s posse has apparently uncovered enough “evidence” to embolden him to declare there is “probable cause” to believe that the scanned copy of President Obama’s long form birth certificate and the scanned copy of his Selective Service registration confirmation card are forgeries.

I write “scanned copies” because these Investigatory Wizards didn’t bother to get a gander at the source documents. But more on that later.

If you didn’t watch the video of his press conference, Arpaio’s evidence is basically that the scanned copy of the birth certificate that is posted at www.whitehouse.gov is not based on a paper document; rather, it was created by some unknown forger, and then the paper document the president showed in his April 2011 press conference was printed from that.

Yeah.
